Green Expo – Surf Ballroom, 460 N. Shore Dr. Clear Lake (641-357-6151). The regional Green Expo and Clear Lake Earth Day is a fun way to celebrate the arrival of Spring! Sample fresh local food, get started with your garden, learn about outdoor fun, how to cut your fuel bill or starting a career in wind turbine technology. Exhibitors include everything from landscapers, spa professionals, local food organizers, outdoor adventures, health consultants, artist, energy consultants, students and much more. Numerous local businesses will showcase their green products and representatives from local and statewide non-profits will be available. Viewers will be treated to forty artworks, from the Museum’s Permanent Collection, which were all created in the 1940s. Open during all normal operation hours of the Museum.
