Animal Safety Tips
Do
  1. Provide adequate amounts of fresh food and water daily.
  2. Provide adequate shelter. A porch is not adequate.
  3. Create a safe and secure environment for your pet. Keep them away from electrical wiring and other dangerous items.
  4. Give your pet and opportunity to exercise on your property. If you walk them off your property, they must be on a leash.
  5. Protect your pet from diseases and pests by visiting your veterinarian on a regular basis.
  6. When walking your pet, pick up it's waste immediately.
  7. Keep your licenses - city and rabies - up to date.
  8. Provide your pet with and ID tag.
  9. Report neglect or abuse to your local law enforcement agency.
  10. Leave your pet home when they will be unattended in your vehicle for even short periods of time.

Don't
  1. You or your child try to pet or pick up and carry stray animals.
  2. Allow your pet to endanger people or other animals.
  3. Allow your pet to make persistent noises that disturbs other people.
  4. Allow your cat or dog to run at large, off your property, without a leash.
  5. Allow our pet to become entangled in its tie out or chain.
