Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service
"A day on, not a day off."
This is a nationally recognized day of service to highlight the importance of giving back. This project day allows people to work together for a common cause, strengthening the community. MLK JR projects are set up to allow volunteers of all ages and all skill levels to get involved for as little or as long as they are able.
Celebrated during the week of Earth Day, April 22nd.
A time for communities to come together and rally around Mother Earth. Earth Week is all about raising awareness of our natural environment and showing appreciation by participating in trash cleanups.
9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance
Honor and remember those brave men and woman who rose in service in response to the attacks. Bring a friend, coworkers, or family with some ideas
on what you would like to see done in your community. Together on 9/11, we can
make it happen. Or simply ask how you can get involved in a project already
organized. There is no such thing as “too small” of an impact.
