Fire
Chief Bullinger started his career in emergency services at Henry County Health
Center in Mt. Pleasant, IA as an EMT. At the completion of his paramedic
certification, he moved to the Burlington Fire Department in Burlington, IA as
a firefighter/paramedic. Continuing his education to include an Associates of
Applied Science in Paramedicine, as well as Bachelors of Fire
Science-Administration, he was promoted to the rank of Captain and eventually
Battalion Chief, where his focus had always been on Emergency Medical Services
and Incident Command.
Fire Chief at Mason City Fire Department since 2018, Chief
Bullinger is dedicated to providing the citizens of Mason City and the
surrounding communities with the highest standards of emergency services,
through a commitment of excellence of an all-hazards department.
