The Mason City Earth Day Cleanup is held between April 14th-May 14th in conjunction with Earth Day.
Teams of volunteers can sign up for areas to clean up litter. Litter bags and trash hauling is provided by the City of Mason City to teams that register with us. Volunteer all year – Earth Day kicks off the Mason City Community Wide Cleanup program. You may volunteer anytime during the year through the Mason City Adopt-A-Street and Adopt-A-Lot programs. Individuals, teams, and groups pick up litter three times a year - once in the spring, summer, and fall.
