Adopt a Pet: Our shelter is full. We have many sized dogs and cats, young and old, and all different colors.  They are all looking for a good home. New animals become available for adoption every day. We try to keep the pets updated below, but usually there are many more that just have not been put on this site. Sometimes we have Ferrets and rabbits and other odd pets.  For information on pets that need new homes, visit Petfinder or contact Stray Animal Shelter

Help the Shelter: There are many ways private citizens can assist pets at the animal shelter without adopting them. Here are some ideas for folks that want to help but know their limits. You can walk a dog, help transport animals to the vet, take photos of pets available for adoption, help maintain web sites, or donate the following items; old towels, blankets, crate, kong toy, nylon bone, food dishes, stainless steel buckets, collar, leash, treats, gentle leader, cleaning supplies/equipment, office supplies.  If you just make a monetary donation it will help with the following; dog grooming, dog obedience classes, or the purchase of other animal care needs.
