These games are available thanks to an award to Healthy-Mason City from 5-2-1-0 Healthiest State Initiative.

• Games must be reserved one week or more prior to your event.
• These games are available at no charge but rental agreement must be signed.
• Games need to be picked up at the Mason City Parks and Recreation Department

Giant Chess - A fun way for beginners to learn this traditional game of skill and cunning. This giant plastic chess set can be used both indoors and outdoors. The chess board measures 10 foot by 10 foot. Pieces stand between 16 inches and 24 inches. The set includes 16 black and 16 white pieces, nylon giant chess mat with 13 inch squares and 5 storage bags.

Giant Checkers - The great old game of checkers but in large proportions! Giant checkers is a fun game that can be played by all ages. Each checker piece measures 10 inches wide and 3.5 inches high. Full size folding mat measures 10 foot by 10 foot. The set is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The set includes 12 black and 12 red pieces, durable folding mat, and 2 carrying bags.

Jumbo 4 to Score Game (2 sets available) - This oversized version of the classic 4-in-a-row kids game for two players or teams is fun for everyone. Game dimensions are 48 inches long by 18 inches wide by 46 inches high. Red/Blue set includes: Red game play area, two blue side supports, 21 yellow rings, 19 green rings, and carrying case. Orange/Teal set includes: Teal game play area, two orange side supports, 21 berry colored rings, 21 lime colored rings, and carrying case.

Giant Tumbling Timbers (2 sets available) – This giant wooden block stacking game is fun for everyone young and old. Each block measures 2.5 by 1.5 by 7.5 inches. Games starts with 18 levels of timbers measuring 2.5 feet tall (can grow to over 5 feet while playing). Each set comes with 54 blocks wooden blocks and carrying case.

Giant Hoops (5 available) –This classic toy doesn’t require much beyond physical energy and willingness to experiment. Hoops can be used as a hula hoop, target for water balloon toss, obstacle course, giant ring toss, or anything you can imagine. Each hoop is 4.5 foot in diameter. Five hoops are available.
