Vacant Building Registration Ordinance

    VACANT BUILDING REGISTRATION ORDINANCE

    Effective July 1, 2023, an owner of a vacant commercial or industrial building must register the building, choose a vacant building plan, and pay the registration fee within 120 days of the building becoming vacant. There are exemptions to these requirements; if the owner wishes to claim an exemption, it must be filed within 120 days of the building becoming vacant.
