To provide public infrastructure essential to the safety, health, mobility and quality of life for citizens, businesses and visitors in our community.
GENERAL DEPARTMENT INFORMATION & SERVICES PROVIDED
Engineering design; construction & project management for City's Capital Improvement Projects; traffic control signal systems; traffic signs and pavement markings; maintain records & provide inspections for subdivisions, water, sanitary sewer, storm sewers & sidewalks; issue addresses; provide public with copies of plats, city specifications, water & sewer connection information, city maps, and set sidewalk grades for work in the right-of-way; locate city owned utilities in r-o-w; determine if a contractor / individual can close a street for a specified amount of time; and issue permits, sidewalk, sewer, water, and oversize loads; also responsible for water supply.
