Home Inspection Check ListThe Building Inspection Division is dedicated to public safety in the building industry through development and promotion of uniform codes and standards, code administration, and acceptance of innovative building products and systems. The Building Inspection Division is dedicated to building a safer community through providing complete plan review services of construction projects prior to obtaining a building permit, and performing inspections during the construction process to obtain a Certificate of Occupancy.


Contact us to acquire permits and request inspections for building projects, signs, demolition, moving of buildings, plumbing, gas piping, and electrical. The following applications are available for download below. Completed applications can be emailed or dropped off on the third floor of City Hall. Permits for roofing, siding and egress installation may be obtained by coming into the office or applying via the online portal (Minor Permits).
